Au Revoir 2014, you were a true lovely.
The first full year we launched the Chandelier brand. The first year I fell in love with every second of my career and business. 2014, you brought us a full year of free entrepreneur lessons, a new studio outside our home, nine incredible features, one destination editorial, a trip to Santa Barbara and a group of kind-hearted artists whom we are now happy to call friends.
Officially a week into 2015 and over a year taking that leap of faith, jumping in at full speed into the event design industry. The year 2014 was a year living in the fast lane with rarely a moment to breathe. It was just last month when I finally spent 30 days, internet free and Instagram free, to just sit and reflect on everything that had happen in the craziest year yet. My dear, we are ready to walk through this adventurous year with you again.
In February, braving the cold freezing winter to produce our Winter Blush editorial.
Recreating Sweet Love, Paris at The Vancouver Club in March.
April was that magical month where Studio Monet was born with the ever so anticipated vision of a refine, sophisticated French boutique of treasures.
Our official 2014 wedding season began with the anticipated fairytale, Pink Peony wedding took place at the stunning Rosewood Hotel Georgia.
Months flew by and August was here with my very own floral filled bridal shower and a styled engagement for our sweet couple Shirley + Neil showcasing the beauty of the North West.
And came September was that special month where I poured my heart and soul into my own wedding and our couple, Christine + Jerry’s lovely celebration. My now Husband and I finally tied the knot after spending seven wonderful years together.
In December, it was almost like a dream come true to have created a wedding at the Cecil Green House under Vancouver’s first snow.
And this incredible event happened in Discovery Bay, Hong Kong. Our first destination work that we have designed came to life. It was a huge learning experience executing work outside of our home town and it couldn’t have happened without collaborating with the most talented Zosia Zacharia Photography. This was definitely one of the highlights of all of our 2014. We can’t wait to see the film scans back!
Au revoir 2014. Embracing the first week of January. May 2015 be a purposeful year filled with all things that matters!
