Rainie & Michael chose the Hart House, a Tudor style Mansion located on three acres of lawn overlooking beautiful Deer Lake in Burnaby, as their destination wedding venue. When she approached us to create her wedding, she told us she wanted her wedding to showcase the beauty of the Hart House and beautiful BC to her hundreds of oversea guests. Designing this garden inspired tablescape and floral for this Hart House wedding is a dream to being a part of, to be asked to turn a complete blank canvas into a space bursting with atmosphere and warmth is pure joy! So grateful for Rainie and Michael’s complete trust, they are such beautiful souls with big hearts.

Designing this historically glamorous Rosewood Hotel Georgia wedding is one of the most fabulous briefs to receive. For this incredible wedding, we created a set of low arrangements, full of upscale spring flowers in fabulous shades of pink, balanced with sparkling mercury votives, exquisite glass reef chargers along with written calligraphy suites and a custom designed floral welcome sign. It was quite a magical finish. We are so thankful for Aminta & Vincent’s complete trust in what we do best. It was love at first sight when I first stepped into the Whispering Rose Ranch’s Mountain Vista, a luxury private estate infused with such charming Spanish Revival architecture, where it overlooks some of the most striking views of the Santa Barbara wine country. The exterior details are mostly historic pieces hand-picked and shipped from Spain by the owner, the famous Horse Whisperer, Monty Roberts.

My inspiration came entirely from the stunning location, that oversized Spanish colonial door, wrought iron windows and earthy terracotta tiles. I created a colour palette of rich berry hues, organic green with softer neutrals to compliment the beauty of the surrounding architectural details. The garnet, berry tone is carry throughout the tabletop design with foraged briars, pinot noir and hand lettered paper suite by Written Word Calligraphy. Mis-matched, earth tone vintage furniture from Found Rental were threw in to counterbalance a potentially formal mood. The soft neutral colours from the soft, draped silk linen, vintage dinnerware and fragrant garden spray rose add a feel of elegance to the overall look.

A final touch of the gorgeous “Black Beauty” is definitely prominent for celebrating at one of the world’s most prestigious ranches.
