Zosia Zacharia Photography and I wanted to juxtapose elements of an organic, delicate Tuscan-inspired wedding with Hong Kong, a dazzling concrete jungle of the East.  We really want to inspire the brides who love the look of a vineyard wedding, but live in a place lacking outdoor venues, that it can certainly be created with the right, refined details…a vine covered Chiavarina, long Alfresco harvest table, burned tapered candles and an extensive amount of brassware.  We created a statement arrangement to showcase the season’s best with an organic, but elegant way.  Cascading soft draped linens were used to curate that feeling of a leisurely, late summer dinner party.  The hand written paper suites in that soft, misty grey by Life at Studio B. truly highlights the entire theme and sets a sophisticated tone.

We are so grateful and feel so blessed to work with such an amazing team of talents.  We have truly learned so much about travelling worldwide for destination wedding design.  It takes an outstanding amount of hard work to create floral pieces aboard, but these gorgeous images absolutely did justice to everyone’s effort.

We were invited by the loveliest, kind-hearted couple to create a spectacular Cecil Green Park House wedding.  Our bride came to us with a beautiful, spring-inspired palette all in shades of peaches, pinks and blushes.  Together we selected classic Edinburgh crystal goblets as our designer vessel, and filled these with peonies, full roses, scabiosa and spring garden flowers in whites, pale greens and the palest of pinks.  The flowers were designed to create an ambience that would give a warm welcome to those entering the space whilst also highlighting areas of the house that were particularly beautiful.  And with a surprisingly magical touch to the wedding, the couple was gifted with the winter season’s first snow.

Moon and Gary, you two are such incredible souls.  You are so gracious, appreciative, patient and trustingly welcomed myself and my team into your lives.  Congratulations on your happily ever after.  And with that, I share with some of our favourites captured by Blush Wedding Photography.  Enjoy the gorgeousness spring filled, winter wedding.

Au Revoir 2014, you were a true lovely.

The first full year we launched the Chandelier brand.  The first year I fell in love with every second of my career and business.  2014, you brought us a full year of free entrepreneur lessons, a new studio outside our home, nine incredible features, one destination editorial, a trip to Santa Barbara and a group of kind-hearted artists whom we are now happy to call friends.

Officially a week into 2015 and over a year taking that leap of faith, jumping in at full speed into the event design industry.  The year 2014 was a year living in the fast lane with rarely a moment to breathe.  It was just last month when I finally spent 30 days, internet free and Instagram free, to just sit and reflect on everything that had happen in the craziest year yet.  My dear, we are ready to walk through this adventurous year with you again.

In February, braving the cold freezing winter to produce our Winter Blush editorial.

And came September was that special month where I poured my heart and soul into my own wedding and our couple, Christine + Jerry’s lovely celebration.  My now Husband and I finally tied the knot after spending seven wonderful years together.

And this incredible event happened in Discovery Bay, Hong Kong.  Our first destination work that we have designed came to life.  It was a huge learning experience executing work outside of our home town and it couldn’t have happened without collaborating with the most talented Zosia Zacharia Photography.  This was definitely one of the highlights of all of our 2014.  We can’t wait to see the film scans back!
